"Just a quick reply to say thank you for the weekend. The weather was perfect, and the courses were great - Ganton is awesome, it owes me 12 golf balls!! Aldwark was perfect to finish with on Saturday - not too difficult but not easy either. The hotel was friendly but dated & the rooms need a good clean but the staff were friendly and helpful. "The weather could have been better but we enjoyed our trip and thought the hotel was very good and we were particularly impressed with the food. As far as the courses were concerned our favourite was Parkstone where the hospitality was very good, Meyrick Park was a very challenging course although the condition of it left a bit to be desired and finally Purbeck was an experience!! Unfortunately the windy and cold conditions made the course very difficult to play although we enjoyed the views which were magnificent. "We had a thoroughly good time in Le Touquet and were very well looked after by the hotel. We enjoyed both the courses, despite dire warnings that we wouldn't enjoy the Foret, and made the most of the town, culminating in a traditionally excellent lunch at the fish place whose name I always forget.
