Cooden Beach Golf Club
Situated not too far from the homely little town of Bexhill-on-Sea, Cooden Beach Golf Club was described by James Braid when it first open back in 1912 as a "good sporting course" and, seeing as the former Open champion designed such famous courses including the King's and Queen's courses at Gleneagles, there aren't too many golfers in the local area who disagree with him.
For the young and strong there are nine holes which exceed 400 yards in length, whilst for the older golfer the undulations are gentle and the springy turf pleasant to walk on. The dykes, ponds and bunkers will catch the wayward shot but the real hazard is the wind, which makes it a different course every time it is played. Fantastic in every way and well worth the green fee.
The Clubhouse is well appointed with many facilities including two snooker tables and a card room. The Cooden Beach Golf Club is beside the sea and is ideal for a golfing weekend or family holiday.
