Girton Golf Club
Girton is an easy walking, tight parkland course with mature bushes and trees which make an exceptionally testing game of golf.
The greens are rated among the best in Cambridgeshire - some say even further - while the par threes require great imagination and inside knowledge of your own game, seeing as club selection is key.
The closing trio of holes are particularly demanding, namely the 18th, which is undoubtedly one of the longest and best par fives in the county.
Girton was extended to eighteen holes in 1979 and in 1992 a custom-designed clubhouse was built. Today, it still offers wonderful value for money and memories to match.
