The Gloucestershire Golf Club

If you have been looking for great golf then look no further. Opened in 1976 The Gloucestershire boasts two championship golf courses, the Crown and the Cromwell, leaving you spoilt for choice.

Good course management, solid shooting, unflinching accuracy and sound club selection are at a premium here, vitally important if you are to score well.

It really is a fine place to enjoy a round and invites you to play a whole range of shots. Further to that, it has a good setting in a tranquil area of land and is especially popular and enjoyable to play when the sun shines.

The Cromwell Course is a perfect combination of old and new, bringing together the best of both worlds. A wonderful old parkland setting with mature trees, streams and lakes and then modern U.S.G.A. specification greens with hidden pin positions set in a beautiful landscape with ditches and ravines.

Gentle undulating well manicured fairways provide this 6,246 yard par 71 course with excitement as well as reward and is truly a players course which will leave you wanting more. The whole course overflows with interest with no two holes the same and from the highest holes there are magnificent views of the surrounding countryside stretching out across the Cotswolds.

Nesteling in the heart of some of the most mature and unspoilt natural parkland which includes trees that are over 400 years old, this easy walking course presents a challenge to all levels of player.

The Crown is the oldest of the two courses and is rich in features with woodlands, lakes, inviting greens and well placed bunkers requiring a 100% strategy.
