Hunstanton Golf Club

Set along the shores of The Wash, Hunstanton provides links golf at its very best with greens that are the envy of every self-respecting club in the land. This fine course has hosted many top class amateur events and whilst it is not as tough as some of the Open Championship courses, when the wind blows it provides a severe enough examination for most enthusiasts.

The last three holes at Hunstanton provide a particularly good finish - the 16th is a demanding short hole, the 17th an examining par four and the 18th, with the fairway running along a shallow valley before rising to a plateau green, requiring two perfectly hit strokes.

The best view of the course is to be obtained from the clubhouse balcony. A central ridge can be seen extending into the distance towards Holme. To the right is the River Hun and to the left is the Wash, separated from the course by low dunes.
