Lostwithiel Golf Club
Lostwitheil Hotel Golf Club is located in the lovely Cornish countryside, and benefits from marvellous weather virtually all year round. Visitors to the county frequently pop in on this course when they are on holiday here and often leave most delighted at the round they have enjoyed and the warm friendly welcome they have received.
Designed to take full advantage of the natural features of the landscape, Lostwitheil combines two very distinctive areas of hillside and valley. The challenging front nine rewards you with magnificent views of the surrounding countryside, while the picturesque back nine runs through leaf parkland, flanked by the silver waters of the River Fowey. Water is a particular feature on many of the holes, with lakes and streams littered about all over, so be sure to choose your clubs carefully and take great care with your approach work.
At just under 6,000 yards the par 72 course, established in 1991 offers a challenge to the accomplished player yet is also suitable for a beginner. To compliment the course there are exeptional practice facilities including a floodlit driving range with under cover and grass bays, putting greens and practice bunkers.
