Market Rasen Golf Club
Market Rasen Golf Club is an interesting parkland course that is fairly close to championship standard. It is known for the quality of its greens and fairways which are always maintained at a very high standard.
The terrain is rolling rather than undulating, with most holes flanked by pine trees - spray it wide and you'll find it pretty tough to get back to the fairway. The course is not too long - it sits just over 6,000 yards - but the fairways are cut quite narrow and make it seem longer.
The clubhouse is fairly modern and provides excellent viewing of the difficult par three 18th. Essentially, Market Rasen is picturesque heathland course requiring accuracy from the tees and approach shots into guarded greens.
