Tadmarton Heath Golf Club

Designed by Major CK Hutchison and opened to the public in 1922, Tadmarton Heath is a sensational eighteen hole golf course that will seriously challenge the best players whilst still being forgiving enough to beginners.

In winds that never miss those exposed parts, it must frequently seem to play about twice its normal length. As a course it has two distinctly different nines, the first nine holes being fairly open and the second nine possessing a characteristic commonly associated with heathland golf - a profusion of gorse which makes some of the fairways alarmingly narrow.

The course has a charming history, set as it is on the site of an old Roman encampment. Indeed the clubhouse is a farm building with a Holy Well from which the greens are watered. All around, the scene is one of simple beauty and tranquility.

No. of holes: 18
Length: 5917 yards
Par: 69
Course Type: Parkland
