Tavistock Golf Club
Located in south-west Dartmoor, in a quaint little town called Whitchurch Down, Tavistock Golf Club offers one of the most challenging rounds of golf you are likely to enjoy anywhere in the whole of the south-west England. Its course measures 6250 yards over eighteen holes and has more than the occasional hazard for you to work your way around in search of a low score.
Some of the fairways are quite narrow and require steady shooting if you are to avoid veering off into the rough, whilst the greens are very well protected by a whole host of cleverly positioned bunkers.
Apart from the setting of the course, Tavistock Golf Club has excellent Clubhouse facilities, with refreshments available and a restaurant with a reputation second to none. Above all, so many visitors have been impressed by the friendly atmosphere.
