Golfing holidays and golf breaks in England.
Telford Golf Club
Telford became a private club in 1980 when Country Club Hotels bought it. It has since seen many owners and is currently owned by Malaysian United Industries and run by Regal Hotels.
The course has been described as an American styled course with large white-sanded bunkers and greens that had such speed that they resembled putting on glass. The quality of the suspended water table greens, which were built with the same soil system as The Augusta National course (home of the US Masters), are still the envy of the majority of visitors.
