Golfing holidays and golf breaks in England.
Trevose Golf Club
Trevose Golf and Country Club is situated on one of the most beautiful stretches of the North coast of Cornwall. The Championship course was laid out by Harry Colt - the same man responsible for amongst others, Muirfeild, Lytham St Annes, Pine Valley, Wentworth and Sunningdale.
As with many links courses probably the most difficult obstacle the course has to offer is the wind, together with well placed bunkers and a stream that meanders through most of the course. It makes for a tough challenge for most amateur players.
Again the climate helps to keep the course in good condition all year round and very rarely is standing water found on this well drained course. All greens have automatic computerised watering and are large and like many seaside courses have undulations and burrows not easy to read. There's only one blind spot on the course, and without doubt, Trevose is one of the fairest tests of golf in the U.K.
Trevose Golf & Country Club offers an ideal holiday for either the real golfing enthusiasts or for others who wish to play golf on occasions and enjoy the other amenities that are available in, or close to the complex.
In addition to the 18 hole Championship course, the complex comprises a full length 9 hole course and short academy 9 hole course. Facilities also include, bar, a la carte restaurant, childrens games room, snooker room, swimming pool, 3 tennis courts, boutique and a pro-shop.
