Worthing Golf Club

Worthing boasts two 18-hole courses which occupy a commanding position on the slope of the Downs, immediately below the site of the Roman fort at Cissbury Ring.

The Lower Course is widely regarded as the most interesting and the best to play. The course is lifted out of the ordinary by the magnificent series of holes coming just before the turn in a picturesque valley known as Deep Bottom, under the shoulder of Cissbury Ring.

The Upper Course provides an interesting contrast to the main course. With a total length of 5,243 yards against the 6,530 yards of the Lower, it is much less exacting test for the handicap player, but still as much fun.

No. of holes: 18
Length: 6184 yards
Par: 71
Course Type: Downland
