Designed by John Sanford of Sanford Golf Design, the Madinat Makadi enjoys 1.4 million square meters. 18 hole Championship Golf Course, par 72, 6 sets of tees and a 9 Hole Short Course with par 27. It has been designed and built to USGA standards and can host international championships at any level all year round.
Overlooking the exotic coastline of the Red Sea, the Golf Course is one of the longest in the region at 7,500 yards. The course is surrounded by residential units, lagoons, beautiful scenery and three salt water lakes coming from the beach wells. These lakes are connected by two cascades, which are considered as hazards, and are well positioned to catch any stray shots. With five of the 18 holes overlooking the Red Sea, three of them having a view of the lakes, playing golf here is the perfect retreat for golf lovers.
In the clubhouse, one can enjoy a coffee or sip on a cool refreshing drink at the outdoor pub, followed by a dip in the 6x15 meter pool which is only a couple of steps away.
