The Burnham and Berrow Golf Club course is challenging and incredibly fun. It boasts narrow, ravine-like valleys for fairways plus natural hollows and humps, plus tiny greens surrounded by deep bunkers. There are also stunning views across to the Somerset Hills and the Bristol Channel. Saunton Golf Club is situated on North Devon's beautiful coast with the river, sea and golden sands as its background, making it unique amongst golf courses. There are two 18 hole courses at Saunton and both are traditional links courses. The East is the recognised Championship course, whereas the West, although shorter in many ways, offers a more exacting test of golf. The Royal North Devon Golf Club is the oldest Links Course in England. The golf course is a challenging one, situated on the rugged North Devon coast, where its exposed position, multitudes of spiky rushes, naturally formed grassy mounds and oft deep bunkers pose a tough round. Don't be deceived by the relative flatness, as once on the course the sight of these great sea rushes, huge timber fronted bunkers, burns and ditches present a formidable test for all golfers.
