The "Old Course" at St Mellion is a championship golf course in its own right. It was opened in 1976 and at just under 6000 yards, has many holes which will test the very best golfer. Located in south-west Dartmoor, in a quaint little town called Whitchurch Down, Tavistock Golf Club offers one of the most challenging rounds of golf you are likely to enjoy anywhere in the whole of the south-west England. Its course measures 6250 yards over eighteen holes and has more than the occasional hazard for you to work your way around in search of a low score.
