Heswall Golf Club

Heswall Golf Course

Cottage Lane, Gayton, Wirral, CH60 8PB

An attractive undulating parkland course on the Wirral Peninsula on the banks of Dee Estuary overlooking the Welsh Hills. The course presents a variety of challenges for short and long handicap players in a delightful countryside setting.

The course lies on gently sloping land with spectacular views over the Dee Estuary and the Welsh Hills. The broad sweep takes in the suspension bridge near Connah's Quay, the Clwyd range including Moel Famau, Point of Ayr and Hillbre Islands.

There are many difficult hazards to negotiate on the course - both natural and man-made - which need careful consideration if you are to score well. Wildlife enthusiasts will also enjoy the presence of wild birds which flock over the course regularly given its proximity to water.
