Queens Park Golf Club is an 18 hole former championship course. The fairways meander freely through many acres of lovely heathers, colourful gorse and all in a wonderful pine woodland setting. The greens are in superb condition, fast and true, providing a good challenge to even the best golfers. The Dorset Golf & Country Club hosts 27 holes of the most challenging golf in Dorset and is recognized as one of the golfing gems of the South of England. The Championship Lakeland/Parkland Course provides a great golfing experience with beautifully sculptured greens, surrounded by cleverly placed bunkers. The course also boasts some of the most picturesque lakes and waterways you could find on any course. Meyrick Park's 18-hole course, established in 1894, is set in 120 acres of undulating scenic parkland. With its recent renovation, the course evokes memories of the days when Meyrick Park was the golfing jewel of the South Coast.
The privately owned Best Western Hotel Royale (formerly the Anglo Swiss Hotel) is situated on Bournemouth's exclusive and tranquil picturesque East Cliff.
