Few in Dorset come close to rivalling that at Ferndown Golf Club, a truly fabulous long design that has plenty of challenges waiting to judge exactly how good a player you are. The Isle of Purbeck course is well manicured and abounds with heather and gorse - with incredible views at every hole - looking out over Poole Harbour, Bournemouth, the Solent and the Isle of Wight. Located in the tranquil, picturesque Dorset countryside is Broadstone, a fine example of a heathland course, with many heather-lined fairways and copses abounding over its eighteen holes.
