Kedleston Park, designed by James Braid, is 6675 yards par 72 from the Championship tees and offers an excellent test of golf for players of all levels. The greens where reconstructed in the late 1990's to USPGA sand based specifications. Formed in 1905, the Erewash Valley Golf Club fully deserves its reputation as a top class golf course. An excellent and scenic use of natural features provides enjoyable year round golfing, and will test the skills of all standards of golfer. Be sure to have your fitness and stamina fully-charged for your visit to Chevin. This is a hilly parkland course that will have you tested to the full and gasping for breath as you close out your game.
The Midland Hotel is a beautifully restored Grade II listed Victorian hotel close to the city centre. There are 95 luxurious bedrooms including 48 Executive rooms with spacious en suite bathrooms and separate shower cubicles. The Wyvern Restaurant serves the finest cuisine whilst a Resident Pianist plays the Grand Piano most evenings in the adjoining Wyvern Lounge.
