Golfing holidays and golf breaks in England.
Sapey Golf Club Upper Sapey, Nr Worcester, Worcestershire, WR6 6XR
Sapey Golf Club is set high in the rolling hills of the Herefordshire and Worcestershire border. The very same countryside that inspired Elgar to such greatness. Wild life abounds at Sapey, finding refuge in the surrounding woods, cornfields and pastures, all observed on high by the clubs adopted family of buzzards.
If this is still not challenging enough then the 10,000 trees and shrubs will provide the sternest test. These were carefully selected as a combination of fast growing conifers and the more glamorous broad leaf variety. Now the stakes and free drops have become history, Sapey is becoming one of the most demanding, as well as beautiful, venues in the area.
The 18-hole Rowan Course enjoys superb condition all year round and visitors are very welcome by prior arrangement. There is also a demanding 9 hole par 3 course which is excellent for short game practice. The relaxing clubhouse has full catering facilities and the bar is open seven days per week with Sunday lunches available to the public by reservation. Private functions are catered for.
