Golf Holidays in East Sussex - Best Western Lansdowne Hotel

Best Western Lansdowne Hotel, Eastbourne

Cooden Beach Golf Club is a fantastic course in every way and well worth the green fee. The dykes, ponds and bunkers will catch the wayward shot but the real hazard is the wind, which makes it a different course every time it is played. The course at Willingdon lies in a giant bowl in the foothills of the South Downs, and from its highest points, spectacular views of not only the Channel, but the Sussex hinterland can be enjoyed. Royal Eastbourne Golf Club is over 100 years old and is a fine combination of a Parkland and Downland course. Both the Devonshire and Hartington courses are maintained to the very highest of standards. Built on chalk-based terrain, the club seldom witnesses course closure.

The Best Western Lansdowne Hotel is privately owned and has been in the same family ownership since 1912. It is this that has given the hotel a personal touch that is still very evident today. The Hotel occupies a premier position on the majestic seafront overlooking the Western Lawns and Wish Tower with superb views of Beachy Head and the sea. All rooms are en-suite have tea-making facilities, plenty of drawer and hanging space, hairdryer and modem points.
