Set in the beautiful county of Cornwall, Trethorne offers the perfect blend of a picturesque and easily accessible location, friendly and down to earth cornish hospitality with great value for money. The course presents a challenging and scenic par 71 parkland layout with numerous water hazards and tree-lined fairways. The greens are built to a USGA specification making them free-draining and playable all year round.

The 18 holes are set in a spectacular parkland setting with far reaching views of the rolling Cornish country side and distant views of rural Cornwall. The course creates a unique challenge for all handicaps, demanding the skills of power, placement and fine judgement. A significant level of investment has taken place over the past three years in both the course and the greenkeeping equipment, giving a higher level of presentation and playability.

The club is famous for it's friendly and relaxed hospitality, offering good quality home-cooked food in a comfortable and welcoming Clubhouse. The large Restaurant and outside BBQ terrace make it an ideal location for larger groups and societies. The accommodation at Trethorne comprises six clubhouse rooms, four Lodges and two detached cottages, sleeping upto a maximum of 70 guests. All rooms are of a good size, offering ensuite, TV and tea / coffee making facilities.
