Windermere Golf Club is situated in the heart of the Lake District with spectacular views over Windermere and the surrounding fells. The outlook is considered to match that from any golf course in the UK - and has has been referred to as a 'miniature Gleneagles'.
The course is partly undulating and features many natural water hazards, so concentration, patience, good club knowledge and accuracy are just some of the qualities you will need to call upon to successfully navigate the course. The 18 holes only measure 5132 yards so you could be forgiven for mistaking the course as easy.
The Clubhouse provides spectacular views over the surrounding fells, built of Lakeland stone, with a spacious first floor lounge and bar, and balcony overlooking the Course. An excellent bar meal services is provided in the lounge.
