York Strensall Golf Club

York Strensall Golf Course

Lords Moor Lane, Strensall, York, YO32 5XF

York's oldest golf club was formed in 1890 and moved to Strensall in 1904 where the course was designed by J.H. Taylor. In the early days the course was very open, now the fairways on the 6301 yards course are tree lined but the flat course retains its natural heathland and heather heritage and provides plenty of variety.

York Golf Club really is a great place for anyone enthusiastic about the sport. With its fabulous clubhouse and comprehensive range of facilities, it really is up there amongst the best venues for golfing fun in the whole of England. It is the course, however, that is the real star here, with its exceptional parkland design that makes full use of its natural landscape.

Visitors are made to feel very welcome at the Club, and a wide range of catering is available.
