Champ de Bataille Golf Club
Set in the grounds of a magnificent Louis XIV chateau this championship course flows through the valleys and crosses lakes whilst blending in with the many trees and flowers which border it. Its many spectacular and challenging holes, which really make you think about your golf, are maintained to a very high standard and the clubhouse offers very good food with a warm welcome and superb changing facilities. As an added bonus the course is rarely crowded!
Signature Hole - 16th hole, par 3. You will need anything from a 9 iron to a 5 iron to cross the spectacular valley of rhododendrons. The two tier green is guarded on each side by trees and bunkers at the back. Par is never easy as the green's cunning contours protect the hole.
