Overlooking a seemingly never-ending series of rugged cliffs and sandy bays, Golf de Val Andre is a must play for any visitor to the region. From tees to greens, and even 20 yards to the left, or right, of the fairway, the stunning views and spectacular holes are a treat.
The course is rated among the best in Europe, and the back-to-back cliff-hugging signature holes of the 10th and 11th really have to be played to be believed.
Signature Hole - 11th hole, par 5. The tee is approximately 200 feet above the fairway with deep undergrowth for the first 100 yards. The fairway is complemented by the sea running the full length of the hole on the left. The tiger line is over the top of the remains of a house on the left hand side of the fairway, and two more shots would put you on the green which is adjacent to the beach.
Facilities at Val Andre include: putting green, covered practice ground, coaching tuition courses, equipment hire, trolley hire, golf car hire, pro shop, clubhouse, bar, and restaurant.
Restaurant closed Jan & Tuesday/Wednesday in winter.
