The objective of the David Short Golf School is to provide long term improvement to your golf game. You will learn the keys that will ensure continuing improvement to all parts of your game. Furthermore, you will learn how to practice them effectively to suit your ability and aspirations. There is much more to playing better golf than technique alone. You will learn how to take your game to the course and how to develop your course management skills in order to play your best golf.

The Golf schools are also great social occasions and whilst each school may vary, generally there is a fairly equal mix of couples and individual ladies and men on each one. The Golf Schools provide a thorough and rewarding analysis of your golf game, ensuring that you will maximise the enjoyment and satisfaction from playing the game of golf.

The Morgado Golf Club. nr. Portimao, Algarve

The Morgado Golf Club presents an excellent Driving Range in addition to chipping, pitching and bunker areas, as well as a separate putting green. Video analysis is also available in the Clubhouse. The Club is located in the most majestic peaceful countryside, which allows us to just lose ourselves in the Golf School environment each day, which is a true asset. The golf course has 9 undulating holes, with spectacular views, and 9 flatter holes dominated by water hazards, which are the perfect compliment to the objectives of the Golf School.

Accommodation at the Marina Club, Lagos

Located less than an hour from Faro, the Marina Club in Lagos is a superb accommodation base for the Golf School at Morgado. The Marina Club offers high quality, spacious rooms, excellent facilities and a spectacular location adjacent to the Marina. Not only that, it is just a 10 minute stroll into the old town of Lagos, with its wonderful shops, cafes and restaurants. Lagos combines a touch of the modern in terms of the facilities, with a touch of the old in terms of charm and character.

  • The single room supplements do vary according to the dates of the Golf Schools. However, as a guide the single room supplements range from £13.00 to £25.00 per person per night. If you have a particular Overseas Golf School date in mind, please contact us and we will quote you the exact supplement for that date
