Great Golf Holidays are delighted to be working with David Short, one of the UK's finest teaching Pro's. Having been a member of the PGA for over 30 years, a former player on the PGA Tour and a Club Pro for over 20 years, David brings the highest quality and experience to his Golf Tours and events.

The objective of the David Short Golf & Coaching Weeks is to provide long term improvement to your golf game, whilst providing you with the opportunity to play some fascinating golf courses. You will learn the keys that will ensure continuing improvement to all parts of your game, as well as learn how to take your game to the course and how to develop your course management skills in order to play your best golf. Please note that the Golf & Coaching Weeks are not suitable for novices.

Twice a year, the Golf & Coaching Week programme takes place at the Fancourt Estate, located on the Garden Route in South Africa, which is quite simply one of the best Golf Resorts in the World.

The teaching facilities at Fancourt are of the highest order. With use of the most up to date technology, a superb undercover driving range, a magnificently maintained grass range, dedicated chipping and putting areas and an excellent Clubhouse, the coaching facilities are excellent.

The golf during the week will be played on the Outeniqua and Montagu courses, both of which are part of the Fancourt Estate. The Outeniqua and Montagu courses are always rated in South Africa's top 10 courses.

Friday 12th November

Arrivals and transfers to the Fancourt Resort
19:30 - Welcome drinks and introduction to the Golf & Coaching Week

Saturday 13th November

09:30 - Warm up on the range followed by video filming & swing clinic
11:00 - Video analysis and instruction on the range
13:00 - Break for Lunch
14:00 - Chipping & Putting clinic followed by instruction
16:00 - Taking your game to the course - Routines and course management
17:30 - Leisure time
19:30 - Meet for Dinner

Sunday 14th November

09:30 - Gentle warm up practicing routines before play
10:30 - 18 holes Golf Course 1 with on course guidance
19:30 - Meet for Dinner

Monday 15th November

09:30 - Individual swing instruction including Driving and fairway woods
11:00 - Coffee
11:30 - Pitching & short game shot savers
13:00 - Break for Lunch
14:00 - 18 holes Golf Course 2 with on course guidance
19:30 - Meet for Dinner

Tuesday 16th November

Free Day - Golf available if required, at no additional cost

Wednesday 17th November

09:30 - Bunker play with individual instruction
11:00 - Coffee
11:30 - Individual instruction & resume
13:00 - Break for Lunch
14:00 - 18 holes Golf Course 3 with on course guidance

Thursday 18th November

09:30 - Gentle warm up
10:30 - 18 hole Competition
