Waterford Golf Club is an attractive parkland course designed by the great James Braid who was Open champion on five occasions. Waterford is particularly renowned for the quality of its greens. The first nine demands accuracy from the tee. The back nine is more forgiving and features a great closing stretch with a classic finishing hole. Faithlegg Golf Course is integrated into the landscape textured with mature trees, rolling parkland and no less than five lakes. This classic site on the banks of the River Suir, backed by period residence is ideal for players. Waterford Castle Golf Club, Ireland's only true Island course. With sand-based tees and greens and a full irrigation system to tees, greens and fairways, the course also features many mature plantations, a number of artificial lakes to add to the beautiful parkland setting, and superb bunkering, strategically placed to test the long hitter. Tramore Golf Club is a parkland championship course. The view from the clubhouse is magnificent, embracing as it does practically the whole course with the lofty Comeragh Mountains in the distant background. Gently undulating and intercepted by two streams.
