Lawless Hotel, Aughrim, Co Wicklow
The Wicklow Golf Club is situated on the cliffs overlooking Wicklow Bay. Recently extended to 18 holes, the course is a challenging test of golf with each hole having its own individual features. It has panoramic views of the Wicklow Mountains to the west and the Irish Sea to the east. The European Golf Course is on traditional links terrain on 200 acres of rugged tumbling sand-dune land. The links has been designed as a strong test of golf, but is playable and enjoyable by golfers of all standards. The Blainroe Golf Course is set on parkland terrain, but has extensive views to the Irish Sea with some holes situated right on the coast. Woodenbridge Golf Course is set in a natural golf amphitheatre in a valley surrounded by wooded slopes on all sides. Two rivers run through the course with many holes being played over river and lake water.
Lawless is a charmimg family run hotel that has been tastefully renovated with individually designed bedrooms featuring elegant victorian or country pine decor. Situated in picturesque Aughrim, in Co. Wicklow, on the southern slopes of the Wicklow Mountains, the hotel is the ideal base from which to enjoy a golfing break.
