Woodenbridge Golf Club

Woodenbridge Golf Club

Formed in 1884 and situated in the heart of Wicklow on the Avoca river, Woodenbridge Golf Club is one of the oldest and most scenic golf courses in Ireland. The 18 hole Par 71 parkland course is a true gem and the state of the art clubhouse facilities will ensure any guest an experience to remember.

The beautiful Avoca River comes into play on no less than 10 holes, each providing unique challenges for players of all handicaps. Some of the finer holes include the 437 yard 6th, the stunning, but dangerous par 3s at 8 and 17 and the magnificent par 5 18th which begs the brave to flirt with danger from the tee.

Whilst golf here is easy on foot and easy on the eye, don't let the splendor of its setting fool you as the golfer is faced with many challenging situations where skillful shot making is required. Woodenbridge is truly a unique place and a great place to play golf.
