The Abergele & Pensarn Golf Club is located in the lovely North of Wales. It is beautifully situated under the shadow of Gwrych Castle, a magnificent 19th century folly set amid the wooded hills that roll down towards the coast. The course itself is more parkland than links despite its proximity to the sea. The closeness to Liverpool Bay means that just as on traditional seaside courses, the wind is often a factor.
The club is especially well known for visiting parties. People who play on the course keep on returning for its excellent playability. The club has held many big tournaments in the past which is proof of a good course. There is an excellent restaurant which serves a lovely treat after a nice round of golf.
