Cradoc Golf Club

Penoyre Park, Cradoc, Brecon, Powys, LD3 9LP

Welsh Golf Club of the Year 2005

One of the rewards for winning the annual club championship at a Welsh Golf Club is the right to play at Cradoc against your counterparts from all over the country. The champion of champions is held at Cradoc every year.

Built in 1967 this championship course is set in 120 acres in the heart of the Brecon Beacons, 2 miles north of Brecon. Being on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park, there are superb and uninterrupted views of the Brecon Beacons and the Black Mountains.

The 18 hole beautifully manicured parkland course has well-maintained greens and lush fairways. To get the terrific views of the Brecon Beacons and the verdant valleys below, it will take a climb up to the 7th tee, which is well worth it.

This course will challenge your long and short game so bring everything you've got. There are also some strong finishing holes to look forward to!

The modern clubhouse, built in 1979, has a traditional Welsh Farmhouse atmosphere and provides well appointed changing rooms and shower facilities. The comfortable lounge includes a well stocked bar with a good variety of beers and wines.

No. of holes: 18
Length: 5923 yards
