Set in the beautiful Vale of Clwyd, Rhuddlan is a course which offers fine views and a sheltered climate screened by the Clwydian Range. It is a gently undulating parkland course which has all the characteristics of a great course and more.
There are exciting par threes that have you itching your head as regards club selection, testing par fours where accuracy is paramount and long, par fives where the only saving grace, it seems, are the huge greens.
All in all, it's a wonderful course that has played host to plenty of county and national championships in the past and there are likely to be a few more lined up for the future.
